Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Build & Lead the OT Service | Glenbrook NSW | $120,000 Why you’ll love this role Shape the OT service your way – grow a small team, set best practice, choose resources (we’ll purchase what you need) Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Speech Pathologists, backed by an experienced SP Director who’ll champion your vision Clinic-basedcaseload with optional school visits and some telehealth/WFH for suitable clients Quality over KPIs – realistic contact hours with protected admin/reporting time Established, modern clinic (15 years) with a warm, collaborative culture (think coffee runs, occasional dinners, even dog walks) The opportunity Lead the next chapter of a well-regarded paediatric service in the Lower Blue Mountains (Glenbrook). You’ll maintain a hands-on clinical caseload while designing and growing the OT offering, partnering closely with Speech Pathologists and a supportive Director. Your week might include Paediatric assessments and intervention across fine/gross motor, sensory regulation, school readiness, ADLs Joint sessions and case conferences with SPs; integrated goals and parent coaching Service development: pathways, resources, documentation standards, and mentoring future OT hires Community links: optional school visits and stakeholder collaboration What’s on offer Salary: $120,000 (commensurate with experience) Resourcing: we’ll fund the assessments, tools, and PD you recommend Support: weekly mentoring, case conferences, and autonomy to implement your model Balance: sensible contact hours, gradual onboarding of caseload, flexible telehealth where it makes sense About you AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with 5 years’ paediatric experience Comfortable leading service improvements and mentoring others while staying clinically hands-on Collaborative communicator who enjoys working closely with Speech Pathologists and families Values a calm, client-centred environment over volume metrics Interested in this position?
